MARCH 2011 GIRL ON TOP OF THE MONTH

FEATURING NELLY RADEVA

Photos by Studio Proto and all shirts in the photos are Girl On Top

Our March 2011 Girl On Top of the Month is the admirably accomplished heroine Nelly Radeva who hails to us from the charming country of Bulgaria.  She is our first international Girl On Top of the Month.  What Nelly has done is so amazing that we are grateful to have the opportunity to exemplify her work.  Nelly comes from a family of givers, who have selflessly contributed to charities throughout her upbringing.  Thanks to this influence in Nelly’s life, she conceived the ultra successful organization, I Can Too.  They have helped develop a medical center for the disabled children of Bulgaria that has produced results beyond all expectations.  This medical center was built in 5 months.  Normally a building like this would take 5 years to develop…and she made it happen with no money, only volunteer work.  Talk about results.  Wow!  So, Nelly had a vision.  She was working for some influential television networks in Germany.  She saw these disabled children being used for PR in Bulgaria, but with no results.  Nelly decided to put the unattractive problems of the disabled in the media in an attractive light through events and concerts (not just around Christmas time).  Her vision and dedication created quite a response!   Not only did I Can Too create a collective collaboration from celebrities and athletes, it also sparked the change that Nelly envisioned, which would integrate the disabled kids into society through natural integration.

The first major courageous step was getting the biggest billboard company, Metropolis, on board providing FREE publicity!  Metropolis printed and advertised I Can Too at no cost.  This generated major public awareness, as well as interest.  People started to reach out to see how they can help.  Nelly was then offered free advertisements on television, too, to help spread the word.  I Can Too became viral. Everyone became interested in the opportunity to support the organization, as well as spread the word.  Relationships were built with famous musicians and they all helped.  Some made music videos and then showed the SMS #’s after the video clips to text for donations.  We highly recommend everyone visit the website because we could not begin to cover all the support for Nelly’s efforts: http://icantoo.eu/

I Can Too’s idea is: “Let’s make everyone believe that He/She Can Too…create a better world…with whatever he can.”

Nelly’s motto: “The LUXURY in the 21st century is to think of others!”

I don’t know about you, but if I could see the results of my efforts like the environment Nelly has created, I would jump at the opportunity to help.  If you would like to contribute or put on an event to raise money for I Can Too, you can email Nelly at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Through hard work and determination, Nelly not only accomplished her revolutionary goal of disabled integration…but in ways that only a visionary like Nelly could imagine.  Because of the aforementioned and so much more, we are honored to feature Nelly Radeva as our March 2011 Girl On Top of the Month.
